Arijit Singh is a most famous and popular singer in India .He sings many songs from 2013. He gave his voice mostly in Hindi and Bengali songs but also sings with many other languages. Arijit Singh touches to every song lovers hearts with his beautiful voice.
Arijit Singh’s Early Life
Arijit Singh was born on
25 April, 1987 in Jiagang town, Murshidabad district of West Bengal. His
father, Kakkar Singh,is a Sikh and mother is Bengali. Arijit Singh has a
sister, named Amrita Singh. He started his study in Raja Bijay Singh High
School in Murshidabad. He did his graduation from Sripat Singh College, Jiagang
Murshidabad.
Arijit Singh started
learning music at home from his maternal aunt and his mother. His grandmother can
also sing, who inspired him very much to learn to learn singing. His uncle and
mother both played tabla so he was interested to play tabla. He can play piano,
tabla, guitar and harmonium also. At the age of three, Arijit Singh
started his music training from Hazari Brothers. He learned classical music
from Rajendra Prasad Hazari,table from Dhirendra Prasad Hazari and Rabindra
Sangeet and pop music from Birendra Prasad Hazari. At the age of 10, he got a
Government Scholarship for training in vocals in Indian Music.

Arijit Singh’s father was
an LIC agent. His mother is a homemaker. He practices Hinduism. Arijit married
twice .In 2013, he married Ruprekha Banerjee who was one of the competitors of
the reality show “Fame Gurukul”. But tneir married life not stayed longer. After
that, Arijit Singh married Koyel Roy in 2014, who was his childhood
friend and neighbour. Arijit Singh is Koyel’s second husband and she has
a daughter of her first husband. Arijit and Koyel have two sons.

Arijit Singh’s Career
Arijit Singh’s musical career was started with a reality show “Fame Gurukul” in the year 2005. His mentor Rajendra Prasad Hazari adviced him to participate this show. He was eliminated on 6th place. During this show famous filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali gave him a break in his upcoming film “Saawariyan” and the song was “Yun Shabnami” but this song was not released as the film script was changed and the song was not necessary for this film. After the “Fame Gurukul” ,Kumar Turani, who was the head of ‘Tips’, also signed him for an album but unfortunately the album was also never released.
In 2006, Arijit
Singh moved to Mumbai. In 2010, he participated another reality show “10 Ke
10 Le Gaya Dil” and won the competition. He got 19 lakh rupees as prize money. He
spent all the money to build his own music recording studio. He started to
compose music for TV channels, commercials, radio stations, news channels. Arijit
Singh also worked for music directors like Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, Vishal-Shekhar,
Mithun, Pritam etc.
Arijit Singh’s first song
was “Neeve Na Neeve Nain”, a Telugu film on 2010.
Arijit Singh’s first Bollywood
Hindi song was “Phir Mohabbat” for the film “Murder2”.This song was released on
2011.Then released the song “Raabta” for the film “Vinod” (2018).
Arijit Singh has worked with many famous music directors like AR Rahman, Sajid-Wajid and many more. In 2018, he dubbed in 3 films “Players”,
“Cocktail” and “Barfi”.

Dancer 3D’; ‘Khulne Do’, ‘Sab Jhulas Gaya’ composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy; ‘Chal
ghar chale’ for the movie ‘Malang’; ‘Azaadi Ke Liye’ and ‘Mere Watan’ for the
Amazon Original ‘The Forgotten Army’.
Arijit Singh also sung a
Bengali song in the film ‘Love Aaj Kal Porshu’.

CONTROVERSY
In 2013, Arijit Singh was arrested for
misbehaving with a journalist. When the journalist asked him about his divorce
case, Arijit Singh requested him to stop shooting but the cameraman did
not stop so Arijit Singh got angry and attacked on the cameraman. But
later Behrampur CJM court granted him bail.
In 2014, at ‘Star Guild Award Function’, Arijit
Singh comented on Salman Khan’s performance on the song ‘Prem Ratan Dhan
Payo’.Salman Khan was felt insulted and got angry with Arijit Singh.
Arijit Singh, a most
famous and popular singer, music composer, music director. He has a NGO, name “Let
There Be Light” which works for the needy people. Arijit Singh’s net
earn about $7 million but yet he does not use car .He still use public
transport for traveling.
