Paragraph on Pollution: Pollution is adding harmful pollutants which damage the Earth’s environment. This global problem is slowly leading the Earth towards the destruction.
Paragraph on Pollution-150 words for kids and children
Pollution literally means dirty. Pollution is the
contamination of natural environment. The types of Pollution includes Air pollution, Water
pollution, Land Pollution and Noise Pollution.
Air pollution is the contamination of air due to human
activities, deforestation, burning coal, wood, smoke from vehicles and
factories etc.
70% of our earth is covered with water. When this
water becomes polluted by the waste materials, harmful chemicals etc. is called
water pollution.
Land or soil pollution is defined as contamination of
soil. When waste water, plastic material, harmful chemicals from agricultural
fields and factories decreases the quality of soil is called soil pollution.
Excessive sounds which disturb our ears is called
Noise pollution. The causes of Noise pollution is machinery, horn of the
vehicles, loud music etc.
Pollution is very harmful for our environment and all
living beings. We need to be
aware to make the world pollution free.
Paragraph on Pollution-200 words for the students of 6,7,8
Pollution is a major threat to the environment. This
global problem is caused by human activities and natural activities. There are
mainly four types of pollution -water pollution, air pollution, land pollution
and noise pollution.
When the water bodies like rivers, oceans, lakes and
also groundwater become contaminated by adding harmful substances such as
harmful chemicals, waste materials etc. is called water pollution. This
contaminated water is very harmful for all living beings. China and India are
the two countries where the level of water pollution is very high. In China,
90% of water is polluted.
Growth of population, urbanization, industrialization,
deforestation, vehicular emission etc. make the air polluted which make the
cities smoky, dusty, smelly or noisy. About 7 million people die for air
pollution every year.
Land pollution or soil pollution is the land
contamination, due to dumping garbage, deforestation, improper agriculture
waste water harmful chemicals etc.
Noise pollution is any unwanted or disturbing sounds.
Loud music, traffic, machinery etc. are the causes of noise pollution.
Pollution is the responsible for various diseases and
deaths and slowly destroys the whole Eco-system and our environment. It will be
worse if we do not become aware and do nothing about pollution.
Paragraph on Pollution-385 words for the students
of 9 to 12
Pollution or environmental pollution is a major global problem.
When the harmful materials which are called pollutants, are adding to the environment
and contaminated the air, water and land is called Pollution. These pollutants
can be solid, liquid, gas or any form of energy such as heat, sound or
radioactivity. Pollution is literally means dirty.
There are four types of major pollution- air
pollution, water pollution, land pollution and noise pollution.
We do not live without air but when the pollutants adding
in the air like dangerous gases such as carbon dioxide, nitrogen dioxide,
carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide etc.; dust particles; smoke from factories and
vehicles; wildfire and volcanic ashes; pollen and spores etc., air becomes
contaminate. Air pollution is very harmful for all living beings. Ozone gas is
one of the main air pollutants, which is the cause for smog in cities. Air
pollution is the cause of many diseases like respiratory diseases, asthma, lung
cancer, heart diseases, stroke etc. The World Health Organization indicated
that in March 2019, that around 8.8 million people are died every year due to
air pollution
Water pollution means the contamination of water
bodies like rivers, lakes, oceans etc. as well as groundwater. As water is
known as a “universal solvent”, the Chemicals, pathogens, organic, inorganic
and microscopic substances get easily dissolved in water which cause the water
pollution. Thermal pollution caused by human activities, which increases the
temperature of water and decreases the oxygen level of water. Chemical
pollution changes the physical properties of water. These water pollutions can
kill the aquatic animals and also destroy the food chain. It is noticed that
India and China have high level of water pollution. In India approximately 580
people die every day due to water pollution related illness.
Soil pollution or land pollution is the contamination
of soli. The causes of soil pollution are micro plastics, mining, industrial
waste, agricultural chemicals, improper disposal of waste, nuclear waste etc.
Unwanted and excessive sound that reaches 85 decibels
or higher is called Noise pollution, which is an invisible danger. Noise
pollution can cause Noise Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL), high blood pressure,
stress, heart diseases etc.
Environmental pollution makes our earth sick and is slowly leading the earth to destruction. Our awareness and love for nature can make this planet healthy and beautiful.
